What we found
    Your recent TACOS

Rough ranges by brand stage, not a hard rule. The direction of your TACOS matters more than where it sits.

Your free audit shows which keywords your ads should be building rank on, and how to restructure them so organic sales grow while TACOS comes down.

    How this check works

Organic rank builds over months, so we compare months.

Ads usually take one to three months to settle, and organic rank builds on the sales history they create. Comparing two 6-month periods shows whether that history is turning into organic sales, without one unusual month skewing the result.

    1. You enter 6 totals

Total sales, ad sales and ad spend for two back-to-back 6-month periods.

    2. We split your sales

Organic sales are total sales minus ad sales. We work out organic share, TACOS and ACOS for each period.

    3. We compare the two

If organic share is rising and TACOS is flat or falling, your ads are building rank.

    What each result means

Comparing your earlier 6 months with your last 6. A rough guide, not an industry standard.

    Share +3 pts or moreBuilding

Organic share rose at least 3 points and TACOS stayed flat or fell. Or TACOS fell at least 1.5 points while organic share held. Ads are lifting organic rank.

    In betweenHolding

Changes are too small or too mixed to call, for example organic share up but TACOS up with it. Ads keep your position but aren’t building on it yet.

    Share −3 pts or moreRenting

Organic share fell at least 3 points, or TACOS rose 2 points or more while organic sales stayed flat. Spend is buying sales without building rank.

    No ad spendNo ads

You’re not running ads yet, so we show how your organic sales moved and where ads could help.

Amazon counts an ad sale up to 7 days after a click for Sponsored Products and 14 days for Sponsored Brands and Display, including other products from your brand bought after a click. So organic sales here are a close estimate, which is fine for comparing two periods.
